Corban Bothell, son of Tim Bothell and Sheri Dalrymple Bothell, will receive his Eagle Scout Award on Nov. 3, 2007. He is a member of Troop 719 sponsored by the Cen-terville 6th Ward. Curtis Goble is his Scoutmaster. Corban earned 27 merit badges.
For his Eagle project he restored the pioneer wagon located at the Whitaker Historical Museum in Centerville. This wagon was made by the Amish in Pennsylvania for the LDS Church's reenactment of the pioneers coming to Utah back in 1997. After it was used for the reenactment it was donated to the museum.
It was left outside for display in the summer and had lots of sun damage and the polyurethane was coming off. Corban stripped the wagon down and coated it with stain and linseed oil. He chose this project because many of his ancestors came to Utah and then Centerville by wagon. He thanks everyone who assisted him in this project.
