James Lee Fox

May 4, 2018 we lost a father, a soulmate, a brother, an uncle and a dear friend, that will be very missed and never forgotten. James went back home to heaven  where God needs him too soon. James was born Nov. 20, 1984 to Annette Thornock and James Fox in Draper. He grew up in Utah County.

James has two precious children, an eight-year-old daughter, Makennah Hailey Rae Fox and a beautiful nine month old baby boy, Adrian Lee Fox. He was an amazing step-father to my handsome son Kaicen Pelt. James and I (Amanda DeBoard) were going to get married.

James unfortuantely struggled many years with addition and was finally on a path that looked promising. In the end though those efforts didn’t save his life. Addition takes way too many precious lives. Families are torn apart and  lives changed. So if you’re struggling or someone you know reach out and be free from those demons before it’s too late.

It breaks my heart and soul to say “I’ll see you later James.’ You are my best friend, my soulmate, father to my boys and my forever!

James was always the life of the party — singing, telling jokes and dancing around. Every moment with James has touched my heart and put love into my life. Such  a caring, loving, witty, charming, lost at times, strong and empowering man.

No one is more part of the super dupper club than him “cause I’m super dupper” James.

It saddens me I won’t be able to kiss you, hold you, love you, fight or pick on you like I have for the past two years. Oh what I would give to just have you hold me close one last time and tell me “I love you Amanda really I do.” James you’re my little red leaf tree you’re my air I breath and the beat to my heart. I can’t wait to hold you it’s going to be magical. You are always going to be my forever and you will forever by my always. I love you James.

Services will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Orem at Center Point Church.
