Loie Nadine Webb Broadhead joyfully joined her beloved Harold on Saturday, March 17, 2018, with her three daughters at her side. She was born on Oct. 15, 1925 to Dora Lavette Orgill Webb and Thomas Melborne Webb in Daniel, Utah, Nadine was the third child of seven children, growing up on a small farm in Daniel and learned the value of hard work from an early age.
She married the love of her life, Harold Deloy Broadhead, Dec. 26, 1944, sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, they were married 64 years before his passing in September of 2009. Harold and Nadine had an exciting life from the beginning moving several times during the first few years of their married life following Harold’s aviation employ. She loved it when they were able to come back to Utah and her family. They had wonderful experiences traveling south to El Centro, CA for the winter months for several years with George and Della Webb. Nadine was a little miffed that all these wonderful family and friends kept leaving her behind, she so wanted to be with them and her Savior. She had a testimony of Jesus Christ and loved the gospel.
Mom loved her family more than life itself. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands; DeAna (Bob) Clark, Deborah Kay (Alan) Hayward, Wendy Sue (Brian) Lewis; her dear brother Jerry Webb; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren with one soon to come. She is preceded in death by her sweetheart, Harold; her parents; her sisters Eileen and Nila, her brothers Allen, George and Blaine; her grandson-in-law, Stephen Thomson and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express our gratitude for the kind assistance given her by staff at Orchard Cove Rehabilitation Center.
