Max and Elaine Kieffer

50th Anniversary

On March 15, 1968, Max and Elaine (Mott) Kieffer were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They met in a courtship and marriage class at the LDS Institute of Religion. Both are graduates of the University of Utah, where Max also earned an MBA.

Max served in the Argentine Mission and Elaine served in the Spanish American Mission. After  retirement, they served together in the Eugene, Oregon Mission. Five grandsons are currently serving missions.

They enjoy traveling and especially enjoyed their journeys to London, Alaska and the Holy Lands. Cruise ships beckon them to far-away places. Max loves to fly. Elaine loves going to Disneyland.

Their children, Kimberly (Doug) Roylance, TraciLynn (Tom) Jensen, Melanie (Dave) Hancock, Diana (James) Boley, David,  and Angela (Jackson) Ames are hosting a celebration for their parents. Max and Elaine are grandparents to 24 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
