Alvin John Noker was born in Ogden. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Weber College with an AS in engineering. He married Lora Lee Marshall and they had four children: Kari Lee, David, Marshall and Melinda. He has 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Alvin graduated from BYU with a BS in math and BES in engineering. Alvin retired from Spery Univac (now UNISYS) and served as a scoutmaster (receiving his Silver Beaver), as a bishop and many other callings.
He lost Lora Lee and Melinda in 2002 and married Stella Bradshaw Williams in 2005. They served many years in the Bountiful Temple. Alvin and Stella reside in Bountiful.
