She was born in Norwich, Norfold, England. She lived through World War II and loved to listen to Winston Churchill at night with her family. She planted flowers on top of her bomb shelter to make it “pretty.” It was during this time she met and married a handsome young American soldier.
When the war ended, she and her young daughter traveled to America on the Queen Mary to join their husband and father. They made their home in California residing mostly in Bakersfield. They moved to Utah in 2004 to be near family.
She had many great friends, especially Millie and Barbara.
We love you “Grandma Sprite” and “Keep a stiff upper lip like a Brit.”
