KAYSVILLE — Davis High will be celebrating 100 years of education on Saturday, May 10, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The Kaysville school was established in 1914, when three smaller high schools in Bountiful, Kaysville and Syracuse were consolidated, according to a press release from Davis School District.
At the time, it was a four-year high school, with two-year junior high schools in the north and the south end of the county.
Though the original building is gone, the new school was rebuilt in the same location in 2004.
Saturday’s celebration will include dancing and music, light refreshments, friend pictures by Bell Photography and a chance for former students to share their memories.
There is no charge for admission.
The school is located at 325 S. Main in Kaysville.
