The children and grandchildren of Mont and Becky Ford are happy to announce a celebration in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. Their celebration will be held on Friday, Aug. 31 in the Roland Way LDS Chapel from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Mont and Becky met after high school in Orem, Utah. While in high school Mont was involved in a singing quartet and on many sports teams. Becky was involved as a cheerleader throughout junior high and high school. Mont served an LDS mission to the Cook Islands and still speaks the language today.

Mont and Becky were married in the Manti LDS Temple on Aug. 31, 1962.

Mont and Becky have five children and 18 grandchildren. They have lived in Orem, Idaho and Centerville.

Mont retired from Chevron in 1996 where he served as an employee for 32 years.

Mont and Becky served an LDS mission to Calgary, Canada. They have also served for many years in the Bountiful LDS Temple where they were dearly loved and surrounded with many friends.

Mont enjoys keeping a meticulous garden and spending time with his family. Becky enjoys canning, making homemade bread and playing games with her grandchildren. Their favorite time together is spent hiking the mountains in Davis County or elsewhere.

We love you Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa and we appreciate your wonderful example of dedication to your marriage, family and to the Lord.
