Daniel O. Clegg of Bountiful will celebrate his 60th birthday on May 8th surrounded by his sweet, loving family. Dan is a resident of Bountiful, but his heart still resides where his corpse will eventually lie, in Tooele. Dan is an amazing husband to Laurie Clegg and the two can often be spotted at sunset biking along the Legacy Parkway. Dan has five successful children and has six beautiful grandchildren of which he is very proud. Dan’s favorite color is purple and he loves to eat at Robintinos, El Matador, and of course, the Mandarin. Late at night he enjoys chewing the ice in his kitchen, eating graham crackers with apple slices, and savoring anything with limon.

Dan once considered his greatest accomplishments to be family, career, and community service, however, in his recent nomination as the delegate of the Republican party, he’s discovered his new passion and life’s work. In lieu of birthday gifts, Dan is encouraging contributions to Friends of Scouting. Happy Birthday Danny Boy.
