Guy and Marie are the parents of five children: Linda Ray, West Bountiful; David Ray (Susan), Chandler, Ariz.; Larry Ray (Gaye), Provo; Marilyn Badham (David), Bountiful and Russell Ray (Cindy), Hillsboro, Ore. They have 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
They served a mission on Temple Square in Salt Lake City. They were ordinance workers in the Bountiful Temple and enjoyed both experiences very much. The Rays have been residents of Bountiful for most of their married life.
