They have spent these 60 years, residing in Portland, Oregon; Las Vegas, Nevada and these past 38 years in Bountiful, involved in many activities of service. They were MIA supervisors of the Northwestern States Mission, and later served in the Nauvoo, Illinois Mission. Troy served as Bishop of the Las Vegas 27th Ward, a memorable six and one-half years. Rosaland was busy as a MIA dance director, activity director and many years as a camp director wherever she lived! She was a dietitian in many hospitals and assisted living institutions.
Troy worked as a trust officer in various banks and was active in the Chamber of Commerce. He directed and judged many Miss America, Young Women of the Year and Junior Miss competition, including the local and national contests.
Troy and Rosaland are the parents of three children, ten grandchildren and three (two more expected) great-grandchildren. Randall (Gwen), Draper; Sandra (Kevin) Mortensen, Holladay; and Kandi (Gary Mamanakis), St. George, will join their parents for a family dinner and a trip to the Logan Temple.
