That occasion is coming again on March 30, when the festival’s Shakespeare-in-the-Schools touring company will be bringing a special 75-minute version of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” to Layton High School. The company will do a show for specially-invited local schools that day, and at 7 p.m. will do a free show that is open to the entire community.
“We bring in the tour for the benefit of everyone who doesn’t have the chance to experience Shakespeare performed live for themselves,” said Gayle Stucki, head of the Great Globe Foundation. The foundation pays all the fees to bring the production to Layton, the only stop the tour makes in Davis County.
