Matthew Anderson, a 2007 Bountiful High School graduate, is the 2014 recipient of the Bill E. Robins Memorial Award at Utah State University. This award is given by nomination and based on the student’s four years as an undergraduate. The award is presented “to the student who represents the best youth have to offer. The student has excelled academically, displayed outstanding leadership ability, shown dedication to Utah State and possesses traits that set him or her apart as a rare individual.” In preparation for the presentation of this award, Matt was described as someone who “has impacted many lives at Utah State University through his overwhelming involvement in many aspects of the community.” He has served on many councils, committees and offices during his time at Utah State and holds “Aggie Athletics near to his heart.”

Matthew graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in political science. He has been awarded the Seely-Hinckley Scholarship and will begin his graduate studies this fall at Utah State University.
