NORTH SALT LAKE — A U.S. Bank at 1090 North and 500 East was robbed Friday afternoon, said North Salt Lake Police Officer Matt Robbins.
The suspect, who remains on the run, is a white male wearing dark clothing, gloves and a black beanie cap. He had no facial hair and is about six feet tall, Robbins said. He did not brandish a gun, but used a note in the robbery.
Police from Bountiful, Davis County and surrounding jurisdictions are looking for the suspect and watching for anyone in vehicles nearby who matches the robber's description. The bank had been a target of robbery before, Robbins said.
Police are also reviewing surveillance photos and attempting to determine how much money the man got away with.
