LAYTON — The Bar J Wranglers singing cowboys from Jackson Hole, Wyo., will perform at Northridge High School on May 2 at 7 p.m.
Sponsored by the American Heritage Girls Troop UT3130, the concert will include western harmonies straight from the range, cowboy stories and jokes.
American Heritage Girls is a Christ-centered, non-profit character development program for girls ages 5-18. Troop UT3130 is sponsored by The Heights Community multi-campus church, which includes Bountiful Heights Church.
The Bar J Wranglers started more than 30 years ago, and the founder’s sons carry on the tradition. They perform seven nights a week during the summer at the Bar J Chuckwagon in Jackson Hole.
During the off-seasons, the group performs all over the world.
They have performed with many western music legends including Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, and Randy Travis and have been featured on television and radio shows.
