Bryan Michael Penney, age 52 of North Salt Lake, Utah passed away Tuesday, 25 June, 2013, at South Davis Community Home Health and Hospice in Bountiful. Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle & dear friend -- He was a graduate of Wood Cross High School. He was in his most liked place when he was fishing or doing gem lapidary or enjoying time spent with family and friends. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he was a return missionary from the Louisville, Kentucky Mission. Born in Salt Lake City on Thursday November 24, 1960 to Donna Kay and Philip Darwin Penney.

He is survived by both parents, an older brother and sister in-law: Leon and Donna M. Penney at Sanger, CA; younger sisters and brother in-laws: Angela and Sam Poole, Woods Cross; Laura and Joel Finch, Riverton; two adopted daughters, Rebecca Guse, Williamsport, PA and Tiffanie andTracy Warren, Rock Springs, WY; and five grand children. Also survived by former wife, Laura T. Penney and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an adopted son, Jerico Penney.

Bryan will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Services were held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. North Salt Lake Stake Center, 55 E. 350 N. North Salt Lake. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.

Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and dear friend, we thank you for blessing our lives and filling them with love, laughter, and joy. You will always be in our hearts, and we know that you will be near over us.

Philip and Donna K. would like to express their deepest love and appreciation to Dr. James Pingree and other doctors and staff at Saint Marks Hospital; 2nd floor South Critical Care Unit and LaDawn Cox at Advocate Hospice who so lovingly and tenderly cared for Bryan these last few days of his life.
