Syracuse -- The Syracuse Arts Academy, a local charter school organized late last year, has announced an open house to discuss enrollment, the charter, and building plans to prepare for its opening this August for the start of the 2006-07 school year. In order to accommodate as many interested parents and students as possible, two dates have been scheduled. The first day will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The second day will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at the Syracuse City Hall courtroom at 2480 South 2000 West. The board will be accepting enrollment applications and answering questions about the new school.
