FRUIT HEIGHTS—  “Weird Animals, Where Jesus’ Love is One-of-a-Kind” is the theme for Vacation Bible School at Mountain Road Church.

Formerly Westminster Presbyterian, the Fruit Heights congregation invites children to attend the school, June 9-June 13.

Kids will learn about some of God’s most creative creations, a church press release said. They’ll participate in Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into tasty treats, and more.

They’ll also be able to experience cool Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them they are one of a kind, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they can take home and play all summer long.

In addition, participants will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called “God’s Sightings.”

Each day ends with “The Tail End,” a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are invited to join the group at 7:35 p.m.

The Bible school also will team up with an international mission effort to share God’s love by providing water for school children in India.

Youth from age 3-12 or starting 6th grade this fall are welcome. The school is 5-8 p.m. each day. For more information, call 801-546-0212. Register  online at epcutah.org, click on the Weird Animals banner or Shred, below the banner.

Mountain Road Church is at 796 S. Mountain Road in Fruit Heights.
