SALT LAKE CITY – All who work with children dealing with disabilities are invited to 2014 Statewide Family Links Conference this coming weekend.

Beginning Friday, Feb. 28, and continuing through Saturday, March 1, parents, educators and the general public are invited to learn about resources available and receive support.

Friday night’s dinner and presentation will feature Matt Townsend in an address entitled, “Thriving as Parents of Children with Disabilities: Keeping Marriage and Family Relationships Strong.”

His presentation will combine “humor and wit with his uniue gift of understanding relationships,” according to a press release.

Judith Snow, of Ontario, Canada, is Saturday’s keynote speaker. She will share stories of people around the world who achieved their vision.

Workshops will follow, along with an exhibition fair featuring more than 50 organizations.

The conference takes place at Murray High, 5440 S. State, and runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The cost is $20 per day or $35 for both days. More information is available at utahfamilylinks.org.
