BOUNTIFUL– The Mountain West Conference has made several announcements regarding the scheduling structure beginning in the 2013-2014 season.

The football schedule will now include two divisions within the conference.

The divisions will be based on common geography and traditional rivalries, said Javan Hedlund, associate commissioner for the Mountain West Conference.

The new football alignments will feature Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, Utah State and Wyoming in the Mountain Division.

Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State and UNLV will be in the West Division.
