Davis Morgan Newman, son of Derek Newman and Bonnie Newman received his Eagle Scout Award on April 21, 2012. He is a member of Troop 263 sponsored by the Bountiful 30th Ward. Derek Newman is his scoutmaster. Davis earned 36 merit badges.
For his Eagle project he donated 140 fleece blankets to be given away to patients at Primary Children’s Hospital. Davis would like to thank his family, neighbors, troop and ninth grade students at Bountiful Junior High for their generosity in donations and time in helping to tie the fleece blankets.
