SANDRA RAST will be among those artists whose work will be featured in the exhibit.
Davis County artists such as Sandra Rast, Karen Foster and others will be taking part in the Inspirational Art Association's upcoming art show "Follow His Light," set to open May 11 with an artists' reception from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Garden Reception Center at Thanksgiving Point. The show will run until June 16.
“We chose Mother’s Day weekend to begin this show as a way to honor mothers who are the hands of Christ on Earth," said Rast.
Other events surrounding the opening include a tour of Tom Holdman's studio from 11 a.m. to noon on May 11, IAA classes May 11 and 12, and Angela Johnson's Light of the World event. It will take place in the sculpture garden on May 12 at 2 p.m. Tim Bothel will be the keynote speaker.
