The team, however, did finish third after taking down Lehi in four games. Viewmont finished outside of the top eight after losing its match to Fremont in the morning as well.
In the 4A bracket, Woods Cross finished in fifth place after beating Bonneville in the morning, then Skyline in the afternoon consolation match. Bountiful finished outside the top eight after losing both its Friday matches.
