FARMINGTON - William Thomas Dominguez, will be sentenced April 22, after pleading guilty on Tuesday to slashing the throat of his brother’s friend.
Dominguez, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault and one count of burglary, both second-degree felonies in 2nd District Court.
Dominguez was arrested on June 10, 2013, after the incident that police say began when he went to his brother’s house to talk with him about a family matter.
At that time, another man came out to speak with Dominguez instead, Police reported that Dominguez grabbed the man and slit his throat. The victim refused treatment when paramedics arrived.
Dominguez was arrested at the scene.
