Our 95-year-young mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, Essie Labrum Lambert passed away October 19, 2013. Essie was born February 16, 1918 the seventh child of Ray and Alice Labrum. Essie was raised in the Uintah Basin area. Essie married Keith P Lambert of Roosevelt, Utah.

Essie worked for 28 years at the Thrifty Candy and Food Packaging Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. She retired in 1985 to take care of her husband.

She is survived by two children: Gerald Keith “Jerry” Lambert, West Bountiful and Judy (Gordon) Houston, Bountiful; two grandchildren: Troy (Meliss) Houston of Parowan, UT. and Lisa (Yale) Johnson of Laketown, UT.; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and one brothers, Lynn Labrum, Roosevelt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, six brothers and granddaughter, DeeAnn Lee Houston Gilbert.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m at Lakeview Memorial Chapel, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, followed by a graveside service,
