OGDEN С  The city of Ogden will host one the biggest competitions involving the most countries in the world.

On Friday, Oct. 12, Ogden’s Salomon Center will be holding the Flowboarding League Of the World’s (FLOW) FlowRider Championships that will include top competitors from around the globe.

Among the continents to be represented in the championships are Europe, South America, Asia and North America. The competition will boast the best flow boarders and body boarders as they battle for the top title in Junior flowboard and bodyboard, female flowboard, and Pro flowboard and bodyboard divisions.

It’s the first time the FLOW championship will be held on American soil.

“Over the past few years, flowboarding has experienced phenomenal growth pushing the sport to new heights,” said Shaun Hancock, manager of FlowRider Utah. “We are looking forward to seeing the exceptional international talent in Ogden this year.”
