The City of West Bountiful is an overcrowded place for how small it is. There are houses everywhere you turn, and new ones continue to be built. Now with houses, there are roads; without them we would be lost in a labyrinth of subdivisions wandering aimlessly from house to house.
While some of the roads and houses are new, there are others that are as old as the dirt they are made from, and with age comes atrophy, meaning that the roads eventually decay and become more problematic then helpful.
In the subdivision where I live the main road is as holey as Swiss cheese, there are potholes everywhere, and most of them are massive! There is one directly in front of the stop sign, meaning you stop in the hole or on the other traffic blocking all the vehicles from the other direction causing words to be slung, horns to blare and birds to flipped. There is one simple solution ... fix the roads! Not with the slurry stuff that eventually comes apart but with real hard-core asphalt!
