FARMINGTON – A former teacher already facing rape charges over an alleged sexual affair with a student has been accused of having sex with a second student.

A trial scheduled for Brianne Land Altice has been delayed now that the new allegations have come to light.

Court records show that charges against Altice were amended in July, adding two new charges, including rape and sodomy, both first-degree felonies.

Court records show that three charges were filed against Altice after her arrest in December, stemming from allegations that she had sex with a then 16-year-old male student between January and June of 2013. The new charges allege that Altice had sex with a different male student who was then 17 years old – between April and June.

Altice was a teacher at Davis High School at the time of the alleged sexual affairs. She was eventually fired and went through a divorce afterward.

Court documents show that a three-day trial was scheduled to begin in September.

On July 28, Judge Thomas Kay canceled the trial and scheduled preliminary hearing to address the new charges for August 8.
