BOUNTIFUL— This week is national Men’s Health Week, and the U.S. Department of Health is encouraging men to seek more medical care.

“Over the past year, men were 24 percent less likely than women to see a doctor,” said a press release from the department. “This reluctance to seek medical care is dangerous. Many of the health risks that men face can be prevented or treated with early diagnosis.”

The Davis Clipper and Syracuse Islander also focused on men’s health in our June edition of the Davis Wellness magazine. In its pages, you’ll find information about men and depression, how pollution can affect seasonal allergies, how to run like one of our local high school champions and where to find sugar-free pastries.

You can download a copy free by clicking here, or, if you missed your edition in the May 30 Clipper, come in for a free print copy. Our offices are at 1370 S. 500 West in Woods Cross.
