BOUNTIFUL – Friday night’s boys’ and girls’ basketball games are going to be ones to remember for the entire season.

On tonight’s schedule are two top three ranked teams in the state converging at Bountiful High School, and two top 20 ranked teams at Davis High School.

And that’s just for boys’ basketball.

At 7 p.m. at Bountiful High School, the Braves boys’ basketball team, ranked third in the state, will take on second ranked American Fork.

Both teams are a combined 7-1 entering the game.

Also tipping off tonight is sixth-ranked Davis taking on 18th-ranked Bingham at Davis High School. The Darts are 3-1 entering tonight’s contest, and will look to continue their three game winning streak after beating No. 7-ranked Olympus Tuesday night.

Woods Cross, ranked No. 20 overall, will host Herriman. The Wildcats have won their first four games this season, including three at the Top of Utah Challenge tournament at Northridge High School.

No. 17 ranked Viewmont will be off tonight, but heads to American Fork to face the Cavemen Tuesday.

Tip off for all boys’ games is 7 p.m.

On the girls side, 12th ranked Viewmont will travel to Bountiful High School to take on the 2-2 Lady Braves.

The Lady Vikings are coming off a triple-overtime victory over second-ranked Brighton Wednesday night.

Tip off is 5:15 p.m.
