1920-2012



Our beloved father and grandfather, Glen Volney Hodgson, 91, passed a way peacefully April 21, 2012 in Surprise, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 13, 1920 in Scott Township, Kansas to Daniel James Hodgson and Emogene Charlotte Reynolds Hodgson. He married his sweetheart, Betty Darlene Robinson on July 27, 1946 in Phoenix, Arizona. After 56 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on April 3, 2004.

After serving in the US Army during World War II, he spent his career working and retiring from the City of Phoenix and also the LDS Church. Glen loved to fish, play guitar and listening to music. And he loved his family.

Glen is survived by his children Stephen L. (Christine) Hodgson and daughter Kimberly Ann Hodgson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.Three children, Glenda Lynn Nielsen, Glen Hodgson, Jr. and Penny Kaye Hodgson, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Bountiful City Cemetery in Bountiful, Utah. Arrangements by SereniCare, Funeral Directors.
