Millcreek Jr. to hold music night
BOUNTIFUL -- Millcreek Junior High will be hosting a Successful Musicianship evening "Music is the Heart in Education" at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Dr. Brady Allred, director of the University of Utah Singers, will discuss why music is an important part of our life education. Local professional singer, Jessie Clark Funk, will perform and talk about music as a vocation. The Woods Cross High Madrigals will perform. Bountiful Music will have a display of vocal music and small instruments. Local private music teachers will be available to interview for private lessons.

Valley View to host fall festival
BOUNTIFUL -- Valley View Elementary will host a Family Fall Festival from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 at the school.
Activities include a silent auction, a lapathon, a fishpond, a dunking machine and pony rides. Contact Principal Cheryl Christensen at 402-2050 for more information.

Columbia carnival to be Sept. 8
KAYSVILLE -- The Columbia Elementary Community Council will hold a fund-raising carnival from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8.
The carnival will include food, games and a silent auction. It will be held at 378 South 50 West in Kaysville.
