Board to discuss Net safety
FARMINGTON -- The Davis School District Board of Education will meet in a board workshop at 3 p.m. to discuss Internet safety, business continuity and hear an update of the "Computers for Kids" program.
At 5:30 p.m. the board will gather for the board meeting and hear the first reading of the Elementary Boundary Study Committee recommendations (at 6 p.m.), the construction bid for the new Ellison Park Elementary and the school land trust plans.
The meeting will take place at 45 E. State St. in Farmington.
Mountain men come to Burton

CHS to hold orchestra concert
CLEARFIELD -- Clearfield High's orchestra will join North Layton Junior High's orchestra for a concert at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Clearfield High School.
Selections from "A Chorus Line," "Sound of Music," "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Palladio" will be played.

Giani to speak to VHS students

Burton to hold Halloween carnival
KAYSVILLE -- Burton Elementary's PTA is hosting a Halloween carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at Davis High School. The carnival will include food, basket raffles, silent auctions, games and a spook alley.
