CENTERVILLE — Quick and easy soup suppers are increasingly appetizing as the weather cools and the leaves change to brilliant reds and orange hues.
A Kaysville cookbook author has ideas for these perfect cold-weather dishes, and she will be signing copies of her new book “Soup’s On!” Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. at Seagull Book, 316 N. Market Place Drive.
The book includes 100 simplified recipes, many of which can be made in half an hour, she said. Recipes include Loaded Potato Soup, Quick Tailgate Chili, Larry H. Miller’s Seafood Gumbo and much more.
If you can’t make it to Phillips’ Saturday signing, you can find her at the Layton Deseret Book location on Oct. 6 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. or at the Bountiful location that day from 6 to 8 p.m.
