 Run, don’t walk, to get tickets to see one of the last two performances of “The Dowsy Chaparone,” at Bountiful High on Friday or Saturday, Jan. 18 or 19.

Kudos to Angela Brown and her corps of talented production people and her cast of bright and ultra-talented students С although they were more like professionals.

Everything was first-rate: choreography to knock your socks off, music that has your feet tapping and you humming along, and costumes to die for.

The show is lively, up-beat and just plain fun, with the audience having as much fun as the cast.

To take a line from the show, “It does what a musical is supposed to do С it takes you to another world.”

Thanks for warming our hearts on a very cold evening.
