Dear Editor:

My name is Davin Rich, I am a citizen of Bountiful City, I am 11 years old. I am writing to you to fulfill one of my requirements for the Communication Merit Badget for BSA.

I am very concerned about pollution. It is bad for us to breathe, and we can get all kinds of diseases.

Babies and old people can get affected by pollution. Also people with asthma and lung issues have a really hard time living here in the Salt Lake Valley.

We are a community of families with lots of children. I feel like our government should be willing to protect our families from this danger. Doesn’t anyone care about our air, our Earth and our health?

I am very concerned about this issue.

Davin Rich
