Editor,

My name is Cole Jensen I am a Boy Scout in troop 551 in Kaysville. For my Communications Merit Badge, I have to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper about something interesting in Davis County. One of my favorite things is the Farmer’s Market. Every Thursday starting in July the farmers market in the field right behind my house opens. It is close enough to my house that I can just walk over there. At the farmers market they have a lot of different vendors selling stuff and farmers selling their vegetables. Other people sell homemade gifts and homemade food. Winder Dairy has a truck there and you can get a free chocolate milk to sample. My favorite thing to do at the farmers market is to walk around and see all the stuff people have made and to buy yummy food to eat. The farmers market is opened ‘til mid October.

Cole Jensen,

Kaysville
