LAYTON — For the third year in a row, Northridge High School will host the Davis Youth Summit to help encourage mental and emotional health for Davis County teens.

The summit is for students 13-18 years old. It will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 12:30-11 p.m. at Northridge High School. The school is located at 2430 N. Hill Field Road in Layton.

A stomp, inflatable obstacle course, a wrestling ring, dinner, snacks, and break-out sessions are all included in the festivities. Miss Utah USA 2007 Heather Anderson will also be speaking with students, along with PowerinYou.org ambassadors.

The cost is $10 and those who are interested in participating are asked to register by Feb. 20. Only 1,000 participants will be accepted.

The summit is sponsored by Northridge High School student clubs and academic organizations, along with Davis School District Impact Teams, Davis Behavioral Health, Davis Youth of Promise and other financial supporters.
