FARMINGTON—Spend the morning in Wonderland.

Station Park is giving residents the chance to do just that with their special Mad Hatter Charity Breakfast, set for April 8 from 9-11 a.m. at ParkStone Wood Kitchen. The event, which will also feature activities and special guests, is raising money for Utah Easy to Love.

“This is our first charity breakfast outside of Christmas,” said JP Swain, marketing manager at Station Park. “We’re hoping to launch this and see how well it does.”

Utah Easy to Love is a support group that allows parents of special needs children to connect with each other as well as share resources. The organization offers different meeting groups in cities such as Centerville and Clearfield.

“It’s a charity for people who have special needs kids and need more educational resource support,” said Swain.

Though Station Park held a Sub for Santa breakfast this past December, the Unbirthday breakfast sprang from a desire to expand the fundraising breakfasts through the rest of the year.

Though they’d initially considered doing an Easter breakfast, the Wonderland theme turned out to be too good of an opportunity to pass up.

“We have some wonderful guests from Magical Celebrations,” she said. “Queen of Hearts and Alice will be there.”

According to Swain, the breakfast will include French toast sticks, eggs, bacon and juice. There will also be “Alice In Wonderland”-themed crafts available for kids. Families can reserve their spot by calling 801-451-9800 in advance, but if space is available it’s also possible to pay at the door.

“People can call in an RSVP, but they don’t have to,” she said.

The breakfast is $7.99 per person, with $2 of that amount going to Utah Easy To Love. ParkStone Wood Kitchen is located at 905 W. West Promontory in Farmington. For more information, visit
