Ronald McDonald will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and there will be a prize drawing at 2 p.m. including children’s bikes and McDonald’s memorabilia. Participants must be present to win.
Daily specials will be offered July 14 until July 31.
Other events include a children’s fitness day with a local aerobics instructor from2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21; akids’ day with face painting, reading parties and games on Friday, July 25, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; and a family night on Tuesday, July 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will include a fire safety programs from South Davis Metro Fire Agency.
The store opened in 1995 and is operated by Bob Roetzel. “We are celebrating a new look, new approach inside and out as a sign of how McDonald’s is changing with the times to give our customers a dining experience that’s more inviting,” he said.
There is a new exterior in terra cotta with white and tan stone, enhanced double-lane drive-through for faster service and landscaping with a water feature. Lighting, contemporary wall hangings, free Wi-Fi and power outlets for computers have also been added, according to a press release.
