Mueller Park Canyon has been a place of fun and adventure for me for many years. Motorcycles have always been allowed up the trail, but recently many more people have been riding motorcycles and are doing so in dangerous and reckless ways.
Because motorcycles allow for much higher speeds both up and down the trail, there is a greater risk of them flying around a blind turn and injuring walkers, bikers or horses. The motorcycles are also extremely loud and take away from the calm and serene mountainside. Motorcycles should not be allowed to destroy one of the best hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails in the state. Not only is it dangerous for them to ride the trail, it is also unnecessary, with the miles and miles of trails behind the “B” just a few minutes away for motorcycle enthusiasts to explore.
Sincerely, Conner Jensen,
