WOODS CROSS — A large Mayflower moving van is sitting in the lot of the Murdock Chevrolet dealership at 2375 South, 625 West, but the dealership isn’t moving.

The truck isn’t for sale, either.

Instead, the dealership is hosting a “Stuff-the-Mayflower” food drive. It is hoping to fill the truck with food and clothing donations for the Bountiful Food Pantry, said spokesman Scott Keeler.

The truck is already filling up, and you can take donations anytime between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The dealership is hoping to receive about 25,000 pounds of food by the time it delivers the goods to the pantry on Dec. 22.

Customers who bring in five cans of food will be eligible for a $10 off coupon for service, tires or parts.
