FARMINGTON – A man who allegedly kidnapped his girlfriend was charged with three misdemeanors in 2nd District Court.

Tavish Henry Snow, 46, was charged last week with a class A misdemeanor of violating a protective order; a class B. misdemeanor count of assault; and a class B misdemeanor count of threat of violence.

Snow was booked into the Davis County Jail on Oct  30 after someone called Sunset police reporting they had seen a woman screaming for help from a rolled down window of a truck.

A probable cause statement said Snow violated a pretrial criminal protection order issued by the Sunset Justice Court.

The woman told police Snow had grabbed her by the hair, “and threatened to kill her.

Snow was originally booked into jail on suspicion of kidnapping, but prosecutors did not file that charge.

Snow will be back in court on Dec., 4.
