Nicholas Thomas Schaelling, son of Kip and Colette Schaelling, received his Eagle Scout Award on March 20, 2012. He is a member of Troop 593 sponsored by West Bountiful 4th Ward and his scoutmaster is Daniel Packer. Nicholas earned 35 merit badges.
For his Eagle project he held a blood drive that included eight of West Bountiful’s wards. Nicholas had the highest number of volunteers in the last four years. He would like to thank his family, troop 593, ARUP Blood Services, and the West Bountiful wards for generously donating their time.
