OGDEN — Two Davis County students attending Ogden’s Stevens-Henager College qualified to compete in the national competition of the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda.

At the statewide competition held in April, Carter Pettit, a Clearfield resident, took first place in human resource management. He also earned a second place finish in client service and an eighth in management concepts.

Layton resident Stephen Coster finished first in three categories, including business law, cyber security and information management. He finished fifth in accounting principles and retail management.

The students will travel to Anaheim, California at the end of June. Those interested in helping sponsor their trip can contact Cynthia Pressley-Shelton at 801-622-1567, ext. 1048.
