DAVIS COUNTY ó Mountain America Credit Union, with two locations in Davis County, was honored with an award to its President last week. Gordon Dames, who also serves as the credit unionís CEO, was given the Outstanding Executive award during an awards banquet. ìGordon Dames is a visionary leader and long-time champion of the credit union philosophy,î said Mark Hawkins, chairman of the Credit Union Executives Society. ìHis leadership has been instrumental to the phenomenal success of his credit union.î ##M:MORE##

Dames has served as Mountain Americaís CEO since 1991. In 1996, he was also named CEO of the year by another publication. Mountain America has locations in Layton and Woods Cross.
