KAYSVILLE — An open house for a new Career Connections Center at the Davis Applied Technology College will be held June 12, noon to 3 p.m.
It will serve perspective, current and graduated DATC students. Perspective students will get help in finding a program that best fits their needs, current students can take Workplace Relations and Job Seeking classes and gain help with overcoming any barriers, a press release from the college said.
The center has several computers that can be used for homework, job searching, and to write resumes and cover letters. Students can also engage in mock interviews.
A community resource library and Employer Connection Center are included.
In addition, an Employer Connection Center will be highlighted. It will be open to employers for meetings and to conduct multiple interviews with DATC students, the press release said.
