BOUNTIFUL — Bountiful Police are looking for young fence vandals, and the department is offering a $100 award for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.

Police believe that local kids have running into vinyl fences or slamming their bodies against them, breaking the slats. It happened all around town throughout the summer, said Bountiful Police Asst. Police Chief Ed Biehler.

There were more than 20 damaged fences, and some were damaged multiple times, he said.

Police posted the award, which is available to the first person who comes forward, last month. They are following up on leads after having received a few calls but the case is still under investigation.
