LAYTON – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in a recent robbery.

The suspect, who robbed the Sinclair Convenience Store at 1508 N. Highway 89 in Layton Wednesday morning, was the second person to rob the store in two days. The suspect in the first robbery is currently in custody.

According to a press release issued by the Layton Police Department, the suspect in the Wednesday robbery demanded money from the register before walking around the counter and confronting the employee. When the suspect brandished a knife, the employee backed away and the suspect took money from the register.
