SALT LAKE CITY — Time is running out to get your questions about small business advertising answered.
Business owners need to submit their questions now in preparation for the Utah Technology Council’s upcoming Small Business Summit, set for March 6 at 3 p.m. at Salt Lake Community College’s Miller Campus.
At the summit, New York Times Small Business Editor Loren Feldman and lead “You’re the Boss” columnist Jay Goltz will be on hand to answer submitted questions about getting attention for your small business.
“Utah businesses need to understand how to speak to a national audience,” said Richard R. Nelson, president and CEO of the UTC in a press release. “The event will provide invaluable insight to attendees looking to broaden their companies’ reach and facilitate a conversation to a national, maybe even a global, audience.”
Feldman and Goltz will talk about small business coverage, providing examples of topics that interest them and angles they’ll take on stories. Goltz, a small business owner, will also discuss his own experience running a company.
Registration is required for anyone interested in submitting a question. To register, visit utahtech.org/events/eventdetail.aspx?eventid=1033.
The Summit will be held in the Miller Free Enterprise Center Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for UTC members and $30 for non-UTC members.
